To Be Free Spirited : Revisited

This is a new year and a time for new starts. I began writing this blog in 2015 and it was great, I thought this blog was about lifestyle posts and what everyone else wanted. I lost interest soon after because all along I didn't know what I wanted.

This blog is supposed to be a reflection of myself but instead it became something or rather someone I didn't know at all. I was trying to be someone else and it wasn't working. It became a struggle to keep up this blog and think of new posts because I wasn't thinking about what I wanted but rather what this other person I had created had wanted. So this year I'm back with fresh ideas of myself and posts that make me excited and happy. This year I'm back for myself.

June Recap

I would be lying if I said that June wasn't an eventful month. For starters we moved houses over a weekend, I had an entire month of exams, my brilliant cousins and aunt came to stay over for a weekend, I have also joined bloglovin, the month of fasting started about a week and a half ago and it was all just very exhausting. In times like these it makes me realise how productive I could actually be if I wasn't so lazy -- but I still wouldn't take a chance.
I may have thrown out the new marker and kept the old one...

So yes, I'm aware I've been away for years and years but I am now on holiday and I will try my best to reach my goal of posting every Tuesday and Thursday. I've even bought a pretty book to help me plan out my blog posts!

I did find some pretty cool things while moving though, so I thought I'd share them with you.

An old box full of 'new' jewellery. Non of it is actually mine... well not technically anyway. My sister used to love jewellery, collecting them, making them, wearing them; however over the years I think her passion for it died down quite a bit and most of it just ended up by me as if I'm some kind of storage facility...(not that I'm complaining, those are some pretty sweet earrings!)

My sister and I about ten years ago.
Another thing I found was a bunch of old pictures. I think it was my fourth birthday (to be honest, I can never tell how old I am before the year 2007, so basically from when I was three up until when I was about six I just tell everyone I was four because I literally cannot remember). I do remember the party quite clearly though. It was a weekday and because everyone was working my parents decided to have it in the evening and only my family was invited. It was still amazing and I ended up with a lot more presents than I could have hoped for.

I also found a pretty bucket (pictured on the right), an old dress up kit, multiple bags stuffed into one giant bag, my teddy bear - Gary/Doug, and an artificial sparkly rose that serves absolutely no purpose whatsoever.

Also, same sex marriage has been legalised in America this passed weekend and if that's not amazing, I really don't know what is! Rock on, my fellow LGBTQs!
